This year’s event will be playing FIRST Rebuilt . This will be a 1 day tournament that is open to the public, with a maximum capacity of 32 teams.

B Teams will automatically be added to the waitlist to ensure space for other teams registering. After registration closes, the waitlist will be queued based on date of registration, with preference given to pre-rookie and unique teams.
The Community Showcase is a public facing extension of the Chesapeake Robotics Icebreaker event. While Saturday features a full offseason robotics competition with qualification matches and playoffs, Sunday is dedicated to community engagement, outreach, and introducing robotics to new teams, students, sponsors, and community members.
This event is designed to be hands on, welcoming, and accessible. It provides opportunities for rookie and prospective teams to experience robotics in a low pressure environment, and for existing teams to share their robots, knowledge, and enthusiasm with the broader community.
Teams are encouraged to invite guests such as school administrators, community leaders, sponsors, corporate partners, and prospective students.
Cost: Free, but registration is required for teams wanting to showcase their robot and/or program.
