Saturday will feature the full Chesapeake Robotics Icebreaker offseason tournament experience, with teams competing through a traditional match schedule and playoffs. Sunday’s Community Showcase will be a place to welcome the community leaders, corporate supporters, future teams, and new and prospective robotics participants to experience what FIRST is all about.

After registration closes, the waitlist will be queued based on date of registration, with preference given to pre-rookie and unique teams. If teams are not fully paid by September 1st, we will begin contacting teams on the waitlist to fill the slots.

We have secured a bulk order for MK ES17-12 batteries at $47 per battery.
The minimum quantity of batteries for this order is 250. If we do not meet the minimum, the order will not be placed, and no teams will be charged.
All batteries will be available for pickup during the Chesapeake Robotics Icebreaker at Hayfield Secondary School on September 26 or 27, 2026. Teams do not need to be registered for the event to take advantage of this offer, but they must be able to pick up their batteries on one of those dates.
