The Chesapeake Robotics Icebreaker was founded in 2024 to provide teams in DC, Maryland, and Virginia with an opportunity at the start of the school year to compete with their robots during the FRC offseason. Competition experience is a valuable tool to train new and returning students. It is hosted by Team 614, the Night Hawks at Hayfield Secondary School.
